How the Process Works

The Advisory Board Exchange has developed an easy step-by-step process that can be done online with a little help from the Advisory Board Exchange executive committee members assigned to your company to help guide you through the process.

Once your company has registered online an introductory meeting is scheduled. During the visit your executive committee members will gather more information about the business, answer any questions and explain in detail what your company should expect from its advisory board. The results of this meeting will help you identify the types of individuals who would best serve on your advisory board.

You will be given acess to our online database of advisers housed on this web site where you can select potential advisers to interview and contact via email.  Sometimes a company needs an adviser with a specific skill set or experience that's not represented in the database.  When this happens the Advisory Board Exchange executive committee will recruit potential advisers.

Once you have selected adviser candidates it's up to you to make contact , set up interviews and make final selections. You’ll find plenty of information on interviewing, selecting and compensating advisers in the Resources section of this web site. Or you may direct specific questions to your Advisory Board Exchange representative.

Of course, the Advisory Board Exchange executive committee members assisgned to your company will always be available for assistance as you work through the final stages of creating your advisory board. And that help continues on even after your advisory board is in place and meeting on a regular basis.
